  • Outstanding midsize car for the $ - 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

I needed something that gets great mpg and looked stylish enough to take to appointments in my job. It has leather, nav, and bluetooth. The interior is way roomier than the M35 I had previously. I actually like this nav better. This car is perfect for what it offers relative to the price. It looks classy and is more comfortable to drive than my m35 was.

I traded a Tacoma 4x4 @17+ mpg for this hybrid. I no longer need a truck and I couldnt be happier with the Camry Hybrid. It been cold here, but Im still averaging 36.5 mpg. I couldnt be happier.

  • Great Ride! - 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

We have owned this vehicle for just two weeks now, but it was love at first drive. I am 65" and there is enough leg-room for me to sit in the back. We traded in our gas hog 4x4 SUV and do not feel cramped one bit. The car is fun to drive, great on gas (avg. mpg keeps going up, but we are regularly getting between 35 and 42 mpg). What more could you ask for?

  • First Toyota after 6 Honda - 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

After looking at cars and trucks I decided to take the plunge with a Hybrid. I drive typically 45 miles one way to work and needed something to help with the cost with gas. After leaving a V6 03 Accord, I love the Camry. It has enough power for me and I cannot believe all the bells and whistles it comes with as standard. If you can spare the extra $ I would recommend the nav to experience the extra input on gas miles. Also love the quiet ride when the engine has not picked up yet, but even as it kicks in it is very quiet. Driving in Cleveland with cold weather (below 32 last week), so waiting for MPG to go up... getting around 33. Best was 38 MPG.

Nothing like waving at gas stations as you pass by in big-car comfort, style, safety and handling. Im getting an average of 38-41 mpg and lovin it. Dont accept the view that its much cheaper to buy the equivalent "non-green" Camry XLE. That comparison may hold with other green, non-green car models, but not in this case; this is fact often overlooked. True, the trunk space is more limited, but the split rear seats go down, which helps. Im pleased with my selection.

  • 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid-First Tank - 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

We purchased our 2008 Hybrid Camry in November 08. The car is so quiet you have to check to see if the power is turned on. Our first driving experience in a Hybrid was a trip of about 225 miles and involved climbing from sea level to over 4,500 ft. The car had no problem climbing hills or keeping up with traffic. We averaged 42 miles per gallon on this road trip which is better than stated by Toyota. I am sure the car is capable of doing even better but if you can get over 722 miles on a tank of gas (17.2 gallons), youre doing well. The key to getting great gas mileage on a hybrid is to avoid jack rabbit starts and keep your speed down.

  • Best Luxury Hybrid - 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

We did a lot of research and went to buy a Toyota Prius. But after driving the Prius I just didnt feel the comfort I was used to. So I drove the Hybrid Camry and fell in love! Extremely comfortable and the interior is just beautiful with the all leather package. The display screen is a big help and the hands free blue tooth with voice command makes driving much safer. I had the car for over two weeks before I had to fill the tank. I commute to work 30 miles each way plus around town driving. Its my main car and I love it!

  • Great Gas Mileage - 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

My wife and I were looking to replace our 2000 Accord SE (122K miles) and with the continual rise in gas prices, we decided to think "green". Anyway, we decided to look at the Camry and Altima Hybrids. We decided to go with the technology leader, Toyota. Im glad we did because the car drives great and were getting a little over 37 MPG, not bad for a car with 350 miles on it. Thanks Toyota!!! The mileage should get a little better too!

I have over 51,000 miles on my 2008 hybrid and have had no problems. I got the base model with the only option being floor mats. Overall, I average about 31-36 mpg in city/hwy combined driving. Im tall and there is plenty of leg room and the seats are quite comfortable. It is quick, comfortable and dependable.

  • Great car and mileage - 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

My son bought a Prius and loved it, but my wife needed a car that sat up higher and felt larger. The Camry was perfect, and weve loved it. Quiet, smooth, and the long trips weve taken have been very economical. Great deal.
